Here at Sticky Fingers Day Nursery we have a team of highly qualified Early Years professionals. All our staff are fully qualified, the minimum qualification held is a Level 3 Diploma in Education and Care or equivalent. We also have a qualified teacher (QTS) as part of our team. All our staff members are qualified in Paediatric First Aid as we want to ensure our environment is as safe as possible for the children. All the staff are trained in Safeguarding Children and the Prevent Duty and British Values.
We have built up a strong partnership with the parents of the children in our nursery, which enhances the learning and development opportunities for the children.
We review our progress regularly and are committed to on-going training, which keeps us up to date with current issues in Early Years Education.
At Sticky Fingers Day Nursery all of our staff have been through a thorough selection process including a check by the Disclosure and Barring Service, (DBS) and references are always followed up. All of our staff have an NVQ level 3 qualification (or equivalent) and we also employ staff up to Level 6 and level 7.
